Our Story and Legacy

Steve’s Prince of Steaks was founded by Steven Iliescu in 1980 and has grown into a local favorite. In 2015, Steve’s teamed with Amoroso’s Bakery to set the world record for the longest cheesesteak at 480 feet. Over the years, we’ve expanded to multiple neighborhoods while keeping the same focus on quality beef, melted cheese, and friendly service. Our mission is to provide a real Philly cheesesteak experience for every guest.

Why We’re Different

Steve’s cheesesteaks are built the Philly way. Our beef is 100% USDA domestic ribeye, hand-trimmed and sliced into thick medallions, never chopped.
